PCTEEN.org  is a website that promotes events and activities for teens in and around Park City, Utah. It is where teens can go and find out what’s happening in their own backyard!

The site is run by The PC Teen Foundation (PCTF). PCTF is a teen run, adult supervised non profit organization whose mission is to create opportunities for teens to build friendships, use leadership and collaborative life skills, and serve their community through creating, planning, promoting and attending  events in and around Park City, Utah. PCTF supports and assists in underwriting the events of the teen group Party Rangers.   Through our website, we support our local businesses, schools, churches and organizations in promoting events for teens in Park City. We are not directly affiliated with any church, school,  business or other organization.

All participants in any PC Teen event expressly acknowledge and understand the risks associated with such events, including, but not limited to, the risk of injury or death that a participant may sustain in connection with the event.  Participants hereby agree to fully defend, indemnify, release, hold harmless and forever discharge The PC Teen Foundation, and the sponsors and organizers of the event, including their respective directors, shareholders, agents, employees, successors, assigns, and affiliated organizations or persons from any claims, damages, actions, suits, or judgments (including claims of negligence) resulting from any injury or death that participant may sustain in connection with the event.

PC TEEN FOUNDATION

MISSION:

• PC Teen Foundation is a teen run and adult supervised  nonprofit organization whose mission is to create opportunities for teens in Park City to gather and build friendships through fun, safe, memorable events. Through the process of creating, promoting and hosting monthly events, teens learn leadership, organizational and collaborative life skills, while building enduring friendships.

• We support our local businesses, churches, schools and families and will not intentionally try to compete with their offerings, programs, and institutions. We are not for profit, but for fun. We respect our teen’s families and will reserve Sundays as a family/ personal day and will not host activities on Sundays.

GOALS:

• To bring PC teens together, ages 14-19, on weekends to safe and fun places in Park City and the surrounding areas.

• To create an inclusive teen community that promotes “clean fun” while respecting ourselves, others, our community and the beauty therein.

• To create a teen-led, self-sustaining organization that plans affordable activities, which support the stated mission.

• Support teens in creating their own events and calendar that maintain and promote high standards: no smoking, drinking, drugs, promiscuity or foul language.

• Build a strong parent group that supports the events and standards we are promoting for our teens.

• Create a continually updated web based Teen Calendar which offers a calendar of events hosted by our local organizations, businesses, churches and schools, that are for teens.

• We will strive to do quarterly service projects that are tied to either our dances or monthly activities, to help teach the great life skill of “giving back.”
